AHHAHAHA SHE DIED 7 1/2 TIMES

This book was a heck of a pain to read at first, but once I got through the first 3/5ths it got really good. Unlike the scarlet letter, it’s difficult because the story is really complex and takes a while to develop, not because the prose is complicated. The premise of the book is that some guy wakes up each day as a different guest in a very secluded and dilapidated household called Blackheath. The state of the estate makes sense because 19 years ago, one of the sons of the owners, the Hardcatles, was very suddenly killed. After that, Evelyn Hardcastle was sent away to France, and the family fortune was squandered away as the parents never recovered. For reasons not explained, Eveyln comes back, and her parents throw her a party. This is the day that the main character relives 8 times. Evelyn dies at exactly 11:00, during the party, and in order for the main character to escape Blackheath, he has to be the first to meet a very cryptic dude at the lake at 11:00 with evidence that prove

Caraval by Stephanie Garber

Caraval by Stephanie Garber is a magical tale of two sisters, Scarlett and Tella, and their journey to the magical world of Caraval, a legendary game where reality is blurred and anything is possible. It is the perfect setting for a tale of adventure, romance, and self-discovery. The sisters are desperate to escape their abusive father and attend the game, where they hope to find freedom and adventure. The game master, Legend, creates a world of illusions and mysteries for the players to solve, and the sisters are quickly caught up in the enchanting world of Caraval.   The writing is rich and descriptive, and Garber's ability to craft a world full of illusions and mysteries is nothing short of phenomenal. The characters are equally well-developed, with Scarlett as the practical and skeptical sister, and Tella as the impulsive and romantic one. The sisters' relationship is the heart of the book, and their bond is tested as they navigate the challenges and obstacles of the game.

In Five Years by Rebecca Serle - Aldo

The story follows a twenty-year-old lawyer named Dannie. Until now, she had planned all her life with her soon-to-be husband. However, one day, she has a dream the night of her engagement, where five years in the future, she is living a completely different life with another man. She can't shake the dream when she wakes up, and it resonates in the back of her brain. Eventually, 4 years into the future, she meets the same man in her vision and is conflicted over which man is perfect for her.   The book is not what I expected based on the book's description. While appearing to be a romance novel, the book mostly steers away from that description into a more complex reading with feelings of loss, grief, friendship, and of course, love, with love being the novel's primary focus. The book showcases many types of romantic love being the most talked about.  The book was very dramatic; one could even say overly dramatic to an extent. While the plot is very interesting, the book ca
